The Day America Drew the Line: Goodbye Red, Hello Blue!

WELL, GOOD MORNING, AMERICA!

Yesterday, I went to bed in a RED state. Today, I’m waking up in that same state with a whole new shade of BLUE. And let me tell you something… THAT is a beautiful way to wake up!

This is what happens when the WORST PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY finally starts suffering the consequences of his own actions.

THIS is what hope looks like. This is that Obama-era hope we haven’t felt in a long damn time. This is Americans standing up, finding their voices, and taking their country back.

11/3/26 will be remembered as the day Americans reminded the world who this country actually belongs to.

To the people who stood on the right side of January 6th, who defended democracy, who refused to let an attack on our Capitol become just another footnote in American history: yesterday was for you, too.

The TRUE American patriots showed up. And yesterday, good reminded evil that it doesn’t get to win forever.

Now, a little message for all the Trump lovers:

Yesterday was the day we’ve been warning you about.

It’s the day the American people finally decided to draw that line we’ve been talking about for years.

You know, the kind of line that was drawn in the 1950s when Black Americans dared to sit at a lunch counter, only to have white people pour milk over their heads because they supposedly didn’t belong there.

History has a funny way of showing us exactly who was on the wrong side of those moments.

And yesterday, America drew another line.

Only this time, we’re not standing on the wrong side of it. We’re stepping away from it, and we’re NOT LOOKING BACK.

There will be documentaries. There will be books. There will be entire chapters dedicated to this political era. And some of you are going to be the people featured in those documentaries that future generations watch in absolute disbelief.

Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will study this period of American history. They’ll ask how so many people could have supported what was happening. They’ll wonder how so many warning signs were ignored.

And some of you will have a whole lot of explaining to do.

Meanwhile, here in TEXAS, I have a little personal celebration happening.

I’ve been voting BLUE in this state for TWENTY YEARS. Twenty years of casting a ballot, holding my nose through election nights, watching the numbers come in, and wondering when the hell Texas was going to get its act together.

Well, yesterday felt pretty damn good.

And I have one more thing to say:

I TOLD YOU SO.

I said Donald Trump would decimate the Republican Party. I said it over and over again.

And congratulations, Donald. You finally accomplished something!

You may not have built the wall, you may not have made America great again, and you certainly haven’t delivered on all those promises.

But you DID manage to do something remarkable.

YOU’RE DESTROYING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Honestly, it’s the ONLY thing you’ve done a decent job at.

Yesterday wasn’t just an election. It was a message. A correction. A reminder that America belongs to ALL Americans, not one political party, not one man, and certainly not one political movement built around fear, division, and blind loyalty.

So today, I’m waking up a little more hopeful, a little more optimistic, and a whole lot more convinced that the American experiment isn’t over.

THE PEOPLE STILL HAVE THE POWER.

And yesterday, we used it.
